Orders placed before 1/29 will begin to ship on 1/29. Orders placed between 1/29 and LNY (2/10) will ship within 1 business day.

All envelopes will be packaged individually and in rigid envelopes with tracked shipping. All packaging is either biodegradable (packing peanuts, sleeves) or recyclable (boxes, cardboard).

If you're not familiar with risograph printing, please review the photos and videos to see the colors from various angles and lighting! The nature of risograph printing is imperfectly delightful, with unexpected textures and slight mis-alignments. The inks have a richness and depth at different angles.

What are your care recommendations?
We strongly recommend that you handwash only and avoid usage of appliances like the microwave and dishwasher. It's like taking care of a favorite outfit — while my favorite clothes may be marked as dryer-safe, I always air-dry them anyway to take care and prolong their life (plus, it keeps the coziest sweaters nice and fuzzy :)). Similarly, I also highly recommend hand-washing handmade ceramics as well.

Shipping policy:
You are responsible for ensuring that you have inputted the correct shipping address.
If your piece is damaged at all during shipping, please contact me within 24 hours of delivery and we will make it right. :) All packages are shipped with insurance.
If your actual shipping costs end up being lower than the shipping amount you pay for, you will be issued a refund!

What are these ceramics made of?
All of these pieces are slipcast and handbuilt with B-mix clay, and fired to cone 6! I combine a mix of 3D modeling and printing, slipcasting, and finally handbuilding to create these pieces. You can check out some of my process on my Instagram!

Where do you ship?
Currently we ship to the US only. International in the future!

Where is my order?
Orders will be shipped out within 10 business days, most likely faster. The most up to date shipping information is in the link in your order confirmation email.

Real talk: When I create your shipping label, you will get an email saying that your order has shipped. It has not actually shipped; as my action of printing out the label triggers this step. However, that means it's imminently about to ship, as the time between me putting your label on the box to dropping it off is usually <1-2 days! In my experience as a consumer this is also what tends to be the case for other creators, so just an FYI if that helps anyone.

Do you accept returns / exchanges?
No, all sales are final. Please inspect the photos and documented flaws (if seconds) carefully. Buyers are responsible for inputting the correct shipping address!

Do you do wholesale or commissions?
At this time, we do not offer wholesale for ceramics, but are open to offering wholesale for prints & pins. Please email shop@byalicelee.com if interested! We do not take on commissions.

How often do you do drops?
I will likely do at least 1-2 drops in 2024 across all mediums: illustration, woodworking, and ceramics. However, I will be taking a break from ceramics sales in general for a while so these future drops will skew a little less ceramic and a little more printed works. Drops will always be announced and linked to in the newsletter.
